TUITION AND AID

Principal and students in class.

At Cristo Rey Orange County High School education costs the same as other private schools, but it is funded differently:

  • 50% Donor-funded Access to Excellence Scholarship: The scholarship comes from various sources, including individual donors, foundations, corporate giving, and other organizations.

  • 45% Corporate Work Study program: Students contribute to educational costs through participation in our innovative Corporate Work Study program.

  • 5% Family Tuition: The family contribution starts at $25 to $320 per month based on demonstrated financial need, household size, and income, as determined by a complete financial aid application and verification of annual income.

Families must meet the income criteria of the Cristo Rey Network, the national organization which sets the standards for Cristo Rey schools. Families whose annual income exceeds the Cristo Rey Network guidelines are ineligible for admission at Cristo Rey Orange County High School. Please contact the school directly to determine eligibility.

For students who receive outside merit or need-based scholarships, these external funds will be applied first to reduce the student's Access to Excellence Scholarship. These external funds will not be applied towards the reduction of the annual tuition.

If you have a special financial circumstance or would like to review the Cristo Rey Network eligibility criteria, please contact the Office of Admission at (714) 439-9626 or apply@cristoreyoc.org
